I've been wanting to do some depth of field portraiture for awhile. Also I think this somewhat redefines for me what a portrait could be. This makes me think back to hands and how certain societal ways can reflect certain emotions, and a lot is communicated through hands.

Remember when holding up your fist to someone was like, "Oh he's gonna hit me." Now the dorky white boy thing is "Dap." I'm guilty of it too. :)
